Here are some of the best places to visit if you plan on buying lots of jewelry.”

Dubai, UAE- If you’re headed straight to the Emirates or passing through on a layover, taking a shopping trip in Dubai is perfect for jewelry lovers. Stop by the Gold Souk to view and pick from their impressive collection of gold. All highest quality of course! 

  1. Geneva, Switzerland-If you like watches, go to Geneva! They have all the best watch shops including Tiffany & Co, Swatch, Piaget, Espace Temps, and Bucherer just to name a few. There will be even more watches to choose from in the shops along the Rue des Paquis and the Rue du Mont Blanc. 

  2. Cape Town, South Africa-Bright, sunny skies, beaches, and fabulous jewelry shops galore, the mellow South African city is a perfect spot for jewelry shopping. There are plenty of shops to choose from including Browns Jewellery, Kamaldien Jewellers, Kirsten Goss, Galaxy & Co., and more! 

  3. Sint Maarten-If you’re looking for diamond earrings, engagement rings, wedding rings, or necklaces with an extra dash of sunshine, go to Sint Maarten. The Marigot neighborhood and Front Street sections of the capital, Phillipsburg is chock full of these diamonds, making Sint Maarten a jewelry destination. 

  4. Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA-This small town in the Southwest may not seem like a jewelry mecca. But in the Plaza of the Governors in downtown Santa Fe, you will find jewelry vendors from all over the state who make beautiful, traditional turquoise jewelry. You’ll also find lots of pottery and blankets that are made in the Pueblo fashion. 

  5. Tokyo, Japan-The world’s largest city and East Asian fashion capital is perfect for anyone looking for high-quality jewelry. Tokyo, and the rest of Japan, are home to tons of fabulous rock crystals including tourmaline, quartz, and turquoise. It is also ground-zero for shopping from brands such as Mikimoto, Tasaki, Fujimori, Seiko, COCOSHINK, Oz Abstract, and more.
